Become a Member
Any citizen of the United States, of suitable character and interest, may apply for membership and may be voted into membership by a majority of the active members at the General Membership Meeting. Active members of this Association are those members who have been elected to membership and whose dues and fees are current. To be eligible to vote for members of the Board of Directors, an individual must have been an active member for not less than twelve (12) months. Annual Membership dues are $65.00 per year. A CCFSA membership runs from your anniversary date to your next anniversary date. You will have 30 days from your annual anniversary date to renew your membership.
Life Membership - may be purchased by an active member for an amount determined by the Board of Directors; paid life members have voting rights and may hold office in the Association. Life Membership currently costs $650.00.
Junior members are those interested persons under the age of eighteen (18) years that are elected into membership. Junior members must have the written approval of at least one (1) parent or guardian. Junior members have no voting rights and cannot hold office in the Association. Junior members may only use the facility when accompanied by an active member. A Junior Membership costs $5.00 per year.
A member’s immediate family members, living with him or her, are welcome to use the facilities as often as the member wishes. A member may bring more than two family members at a time. However, immediate family members do not have voting rights and the member must be present.
If you wish to become a member, you can print a membership application by going to the MembershipApplication link. If you do not have a sponsor, you can use the web-site (www.ccfsa.com) as a sponsor. You will need a Safety Orientation before you receive access to the Rifle/Pistol range.
New members will need to check the CCFSA Calendar (http://www.localendar.com/public/ccfsa) for the next scheduled orientation. If this time conflicts with your work schedule, you can contact the Safety Committee for alternate times at CCFSA1@yahoo.com. Please take the time to read the rules before the orientation. This will give us a chance to answer your questions during the orientation.
If your mailing address has changed, please fill out another application and note it as a “change of address”. Then mail it to the Membership Committee’s address on the application.
The CCFSA Board of Directors will vote on approval of any new members during the General Membership Meeting on the Second Wednesday of each month throughout the year. After approval, it may take up to two weeks to process your membership and furnish the new member with their Membership Packet.
